Kasanai resides in the quiet dialogue between the archival elegance of Paris and the meditative clarity of Japan. Our name is a vow of restraint: to not layer, to not clutter. We believe that the most resonant objects are those that do not compete for space, but rather define it through their solitary presence.

KASANAI was founded in 2021 by interior designer Virginie Steeland. Inspired by the complexity of finding minimal yet refined pieces for her own home, she decided to create her own.
Believing strongly in the role interior design plays in mindfull being, we used the principles of minimalism to create objects that are timeless and durable. Shying away from the throw-away culture we stronlgy believe in investing in high quality pieces that make your home a peaceful environment. We’d like to inspire you to contribute to a slow-living kind of mindset where less is always more and every piece is seen as an investment. Something that outlives trends and can be enjoyed for many years to come.
