These tables are designed to offer you enduring beauty and functionality. Please take a moment to read through this care guide to ensure that your table remains in top condition for years to come.
Special Characteristics of the Pieces:
Each KASANAI table is a work of art, meticulously created from multiple hand-applied layers of mineral micro-mortar, including natural lime. Because of the materials used, slight variations in color and shape are normal. You may also notice small imperfections on the table’s surface; these are characteristic of the product’s handmade nature.
Normal Usage:
The tables are only appropriate for indoor usage unless explicitly stated otherwise by KASANAI. While our tables are resilient, some precautions should be observed:
– As each piece is made by hand every piece is unique. Variations in shape, dimensions and colour may occur between individual pieces.
– Inherent to the pieces are minor surface imperfections which contribute to its uniqueness.
– Despite the enormous strength of the furniture, lime plaster remains a very delicate material and should be treated like a natural stone.
– Avoid using sharp objects directly on the surface to prevent damage.
– Swiftly remove spilled liquids, especially those with colour.
– Refrain from placing hot objects, such as cooking pans, directly on the table.
– The furniture is designed for indoor use only. Extreme cold, heat and dry conditions may affect it texture.
– Avoid limescale cleaners or corrosive cleaning products.
– Installation of the tables should always be performed with caution. Be careful when moving it to avoid damaging the table leg. Be sure to lift the table, not drag it along the ground.
Protective Coating:
Our tables feature a durable coating, but it is essential to protect them from stains, like caring for natural stone surfaces. KASANAI applies multiple layers of protective coating to your table, ensuring its longevity and enhancing its natural beauty. This meticulous process results in a practical, versatile, and durable piece of furniture that will be cherished for generations and during all moments of happiness.
Mounting:
Our tables are masterfully handcrafted from premium lime plaster, a natural material revered for its sophisticated, textures appearance. Due to the qualities of lime plaster, it requires gentle handling to preserve its exquisite beauty. While the material provides a distinct aesthetic it is more delicate than other options and may be prone to scratching if not treated with care.
To ensure your table’s lasting elegance, we recommend placing it on a soft, cushioned surface when unpacking to avoid any unintended marks. Depending on your location, the table will either be delivered in a sturdy wooden crate or carefully packaged with edge protectors and bubble wrap, safeguarding each component throughout its journey.
For a safe assembly, you will find six bolts and a hex key included. Begin by positioning the table legs. Once the leg is properly positioned, gently lift the tabletop onto the leg. Please refrain from sliding the tabletop into place, as this could compromise the underside of the surface. instead, gently lower it into position. Should minor adjustments be necessary, simply lift and reposition the tabletop to ensure a flawless fit. Once aligned, the bolts can be placed and tightened using the hex key.
By adhering to these instructions and handling your table with care, you will be able to enjoy its timeless beauty for years to come.
